Service Market Logistics (SML) is part of Group Trucks Operations. We have 5300 employees on more than 60 locations world-wide. Our job is to design, handle and optimize the supply chain for all Volvo Group brands and for selected customers within the automotive industry. The scope for Logistics Services includes making sure that material is transported to the production facilities, that packaging is available, that vehicles are distributed to the dealers, and that management of material, warehouses and distribution ensures the availability of parts everywhere in the world. Supply Planning is a part of Supply planning and Dealer Inventory Management (DIM) within GTO SML and we are responsible for the planned distribution of aftermarket products, from supplier to dealer
We are now looking for a Light Commercial Vehicle Supply Planner / Citizen Developer
The Supply Planner (SP) has responsibility for a portfolio of Light Duty Truck materials from a Renault Trucks partner delivering to the central warehouse in Lyon. The SP has the overall responsibility of the relationship with the partner and of the assortment of after-market parts. The activities are realized in close cooperation with Renault Trucks brand, Demand/Inventory planning and Lyon central warehouse.
As citizen developer, you will steer and develop IT tools in order to automate office repetitive tasks in accordance with business needs. You will be part of Automation network / Dev Ops team. This role will be located in Lyon. It is broad and comes with lots of responsibility and ownership on tools development. Being service minded, proactive and a true team player is crucial to succeed in this role.

Core Responsibilities:Parts availability at central warehouse
Supplier delivery performance
Supply Chain optimization (EDI - flow alignment)
Optimization of inventory levels at central warehouse
Responsible for executing and actively participate in improving the material planning process
DevOps approach as a Citizen Developer, develop automation tools
Documentation workdone/ training documentation
Train people to automation technics
Background and key competencies:University degree in logistics, or experience equivalent to the same knowledge level
Good Understanding of the total supply chain
Action driven and efficient with a great personal drive
Good communication skills
English fluently spoken and written. Additional languages are considered as a merit
Experience from close cooperation with suppliers
Experience in stock management systems
Experience from production planning/material control
Good in data crunching to sort out the prioritization tasks on your portfolio
You are not afraid to pick up the phone and challenge suppliers and other stakeholders and like to work towards set targets in an international environment.
