DESCRIPTION
Amazon's Surface Transportation Planners play a central role in our global business.
ATS Scheduling Team is responsible for the creation, publication and management of Surface Transportation schedules trucking needs of our customers' demands managing the plan for the entire EU network and UK.

The team is looking for a Surface Transportation Planner that will manage the requirements for a specific scheduling program and build scalable processes while supporting development of scheduling solutions. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Program teams and everything in between.

Key job responsibilities
The Surface Transportation Planner requires good analytical, communication, dive-deep and collaboration skills to deliver against the aforementioned responsibilities successfully. These skills allow the Planner to identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions within ATS ST space. Also, the Planner requires the ability to create the trust by sustaining best practices in process and program implementation, ensuring all changes are fully aligned and visible to the impacted teams, and influence the large multitude of stakeholders across various cross-functional teams.

A day in the life
Surface Transportation Planner role and responsibility consists in managing an existing scheduling program/process with a defined roadmap, and delivering complex projects aligned with the scheduling team's vision of quality, automation and scalability. The Planner streamlines existing scheduling processes and identifies solutions for internal customers. In this role, the Planner works on solving complex scheduling-related operational problems related to constraints, demand and supply.

Quel est le profil idéal ?

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent obtained less than 2 years ago
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Analytical skills using data and metrics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
