SUMMARY :
We have been appointed by a major EPC contractor to find a very senior operation manager, this is a recruitment, and we are acting as a recruitment firm on this very specific opportunity.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Operation Manager to lead the operation team in managing multi-million-dollar projects within the oil and gas sector, both onshore and offshore.
Location: Dubai, UAE
YOUR MISSION :
1 Leadership and Management:
* Lead, mentor, and develop different project managers and their teams in various places in Middle East subsidiaries.
* Ensure alignment of operation strategies with corporate goals and objectives.
* Project Management:
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
* Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
* Implement robust project management methodologies and best practices.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, construction, and operations.
* Technical Expertise:
* Provide technical guidance and expertise in the execution of oil and gas projects.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
* Review and approve operation designs, specifications, and documentation.
* Stakeholder Management:
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met.
* Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
* Risk Management:
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure contingency plans are in place.
* Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Continuous Improvement:
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and quality.
* Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Quel est le profil idéal ?
YOUR EXPERIENCE :
Main Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree preferred).
* Minimum of 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on EPC project management.
* Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects in onshore and offshore environments.
* Extensive knowledge of operation principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Fluent in english
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in Middle East
* Familiarity with local regulations and business practices.
* Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
* French is a plus
