Quelles sont les missions ?
Your team's responsibilities:
Exceed customer expectations on delivery estimate accuracy for hundreds of millions of packages shipped by performing analysis on customer facing defects.
Leverage software development teams to systemically drive down transportation costs for a multi-billion dollar cost structure. These initiatives may be built locally but the solutions are expected to influence international system design.
Develop a business plan for upcoming fiscal year and strategy for the group. Support the Operations Planning (OP) Process and goal setting.
Track existing metrics to detect & remove defects
Independently engage all levels of the organization to remove waste from operations processes including employing Lean/Six Sigma practices across the Network.
Prepare and participate to recurrent operations calls, business reviews, technical roadmap reviews, etc.
To be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data driven decisions which will have a direct impact on customer experience. Some keys to your success are the ability to be an effective communicator to various audiences. The ability to remain flexible and constantly learn new tools and systems is instrumental in your role on the team. Our environment is deadline driven, fast paced, and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable interacting and working with multiple teams (business and technical).
Quel est le profil idéal ?
A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics or similar field
Familiarity with supply chain management and transportation concepts : forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics, delivery performance, S&OP
People Management and Leadership skills
Fluent in English
Professional experience in Supply Chain / Transportation or related environment for an International company
Highly analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record for delivering results on large, cross functional, international milestone projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences and influence others, plus ability to communicate with technical and commercial teams
Results-oriented , makes things happen, ability to move fast, innovate and simplify
Experience in working in or with operations
