Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of manufacturing facilities and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!

During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations. You will be part of the transformation in our industry, working with new technologies and building the competencies for tomorrow.

This is us, your new team:

Our team consists of highly engaged and talented colleagues (4 males and 3 females) located in France.
Our target is to secure and develop the manufacturing solutions (operation) within Embedded Software and Electrical covering Europe and according to product evolution.

The development will be carried out in close cooperation with Colleagues in the Production Sites but also with Product development and shared to your counterparts in GTO (US, Gothenburg, Bangalore). The collaboration possibilities are boundless.

We are committed to improve quality, efficiency and flexibility of our deliveries. We strive also to improve our processes in manufacturing. We are responsible to develop/support the growing competence needs ahead. Thus, our focus is both on existing products and processes and on
Industry 4.0 and the new electronic architecture related to Electromobility, Connectivity and Vehicle Automation.

Do you love challenges in a rapidly changing environment and want to define the future together with an awesome team?

If yes, your responsibility will be to drive and develop a set of electronic tests called operations. These operations will be performed during the cabin manufacturing, through the electrical check tool considering the new electronic architecture.
On top of that, you will oversee developing a testing platform in line with the new architecture for GTO and in collaboration with the designer team.
These operations allow the control of the cab manufacturing and its assembly on the truck.
Being an actor in this project you will use your engineering skills all along with the different phases: functional specification, design, development, validation, and integration before the deployment of these deliverables in the production line.
Specific tasks may involve troubleshooting and investigation on some behavior since your development will go in parallel with product changes already planned in the product roadmap.
You will be asked to work with agile processes and engineering standards to maintain efficiency, ensure the best possible performance, quality, and robustness of our products.
