This job role will be based within the rapidly expanding Chemical Safety and Compliance (CSC) program, which forms a key pillars of the overall PARS organization. CSC has a mission to protect the health of associates, customers and supply chain partners by innovatively identifying hazardous chemical products across an ever-expanding catalogue, executing internal and external mechanisms to gather required compliance requirements and improving collection systems through implementing tech solutions to ambiguous challenges; taken together, this allows CSC to provide credible information to enable safe handling, storage, transport, usage and disposal of hazardous products across the worldwide Amazon network.
The Program Manager will be responsible for delivering and managing the end-to-end cross-team documents validation mechanisms as well as documents localization mechanisms required for program compliance, safety and expansion, while also ensuring continuous improvement of our workflows for optimal end-user success. To do this, they must be able to manage across numerous business models and create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp on the operational, financial, business, and technical aspects of the content development required for each new and existing solution, as well as Our team is currently looking for an experienced Program Manager. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a creative, collaborative and highly motivated individual to manage a complex set of compliance-focused programs, processes and tools for a leading multinational organization.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, technical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines at scale. They will have a proven track record in using data to guide decisions, being able to prioritize, and acting upon the information received.
Key job responsibilities
Defining, owning and executing upon compliance documents validation and localization mechanisms,
Leading the development of continuous feedback mechanisms with CSC stakeholders with the aim to improve current processes, which hold a tangible impact on targeted metrics,
Partnering closely with various Tech and Product teams, to define and lead the WW strategy to integrate program functionalities,
Leveraging a combination of data analysis skills, critical thinking and collaboration to clarify highly ambiguous problems and present tangible solution in an easy to understand format for leadership teams,
Partnering with Internal and External stakeholders from WW teams to understand key challenges and contribute to helping find solutions,
Owning the delivery of multiple projects, taking ownership to monitor their progress against key milestones,
Develop scalable mechanisms to report regular updates on projects within your ownership to key stakeholders, to ensure alignment is maintained across various WW team,
Partnering with Operations teams to ensure .
Balancing competing priorities through great time management, organizational skills, and judgment.
Operating autonomously in ambiguous environments, and efficiently drive strategic decisions using data,
Working successfully with project partners and stakeholders across various locations and time zones.

About the team
Chemical Safety & Compliance [CSC] focuses on Hazardous Goods [HG], which are a category of chemical products such as paints, detergents, and aerosols. These products are regulated for storage, handling, and waste by country or region level legislation and can potentially hurt our customers if mishandled. Our team is responsible for protecting the health of our associates, supply chain partners, and customers, identifying HGs in Amazon network, mitigating risk on disposal, storage and transporting. The program provides granular, actionable data systemic controls to detect, handle, store, and fulfill HG safely and compliantly.
Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related area,
Experience managing medium to high complexity cross-functional programs, including multiple groups of stakeholders and in an international environment,
Experience working with Product teams to implement scalable technical solutions,
Ability to work autonomously and within ambiguity,
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences,
Extremely comfortable with ambiguity and comfortable on taking the lead to problem solve,
Ability to design processes that start with the customer and work backward,
Experience with root cause analysis and process design,
Advanced user of Excel
Knowledge of data warehouse and SQL
Strong delivery record
Ability to travel internationally.
Experience with chemical regulations such as GHS, REACH, CLP, TSCA, OSHA, WHMIS,
Experience in compliance programs,
Knowledge/Certification of Six Sigma/Lean,
Knowledge of EU languages and/or Arabic/Turkish.
